Seek The Lord

Why do we seek the Lord?  Well, one thing the Bible teaches us is that there is not one good thing that he will withhold from his children.  Psalm 105:3-4 tells us we need to seek the Lord and his strength. We need God's strength when we are week and in the times when we grow weary. It is in our weakness that his almighty strength and power is made strong and is made known throughout the universe.  It is by his power we are made strong.  We need to seek him and abide in his presence continually so that we can do all things through him who strengthens us.

Psalm 105:3-4 (ESV)

     3 Glory in his holy name;

              let the hearts of those who

              seek the Lord rejoice!

     4 Seek the LORD and his strength;

              seek his presence continually!
